Terms of Service for Mixing Submissions

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before submitting any music recordings ("Recordings") to Moonlit Music Publishing, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our,” or "Moonlit Music Group," or “Mixer”) for our free mixing service (“Service”). By submitting your materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Upon receipt of your submission, we will determine whether we will provide professional mixing services for your submitted Recordings. This service is not guaranteed for all submissions and we maintain the right to refuse service to anyone prior to further contractural engagement.

2. Compensation

This is a free submission/request. Your will not be charged for the mixing of your submitted Recordings nor will they be mixed until we commit to a mutual contractual agreement.

3. Submission Materials & Deadlines

Upon further contractual agreement, you are responsible for submitting all required files, stems, and relevant information necessary to complete the mix prior to the date of scheduled mixing.

If you have a specific deadline, you must notify us in writing at the time of submission. We are not responsible for meeting any deadlines not disclosed or those that allow less than 2 business days for completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Non-Interference

All mixing services will be completed remotely. No in-person or remote attendance, participation, or live supervision of the mixing session is permitted unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.

5. Credits

You agree to credit us for mixing services in any public release or distribution of the mixed Recording, whether commercial or non-commercial, as follows:

“Mixing by Liam Alexander of the Moonlit Music Group.”

6. Copyright Ownership

You confirm that you either own or have secured all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any material you submit. You retain full ownership of your music and the final mix.

 

You also acknowledge that any releases, publications, or other compositions released or created by Moonlit Music Group, its members, or subsidiaries that may bear resemblance but is not a direct reproduction to, or of, your copyright-eligible material is purely coincidental and you waive your right to prosecute Moonlit Music Group and its subsidiaries in any and all such instances.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moonlit Music Publishing, LLC and its affiliates, employees, and contractors against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Any alleged infringement of third-party rights in the submitted materials.

• Any breach of these Terms, including failure to meet deadline notification requirements.​

8. Limitation of Liability

While we will do everything possible to ensure your satisfaction, our mixing service is provided “as-is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

9. Consent for Content Creation

While we will always attempt to create content that presents your music in a positive light, if you answer "yes" to consent to your music/mix to feature in live mixes and content creation, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moonlit Music Publishing, LLC and its affiliates, employees, and contractors against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from content we've created.

You also agree that while we will generally honor any and all written requests to remove content that you believe negatively impacts or distresses you or your brand in any way, we hold no obligation to do so and the final decision to remove the content lies solely with Moonlit Music Group.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website.

By submitting your materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
