TIRED OF READING BS MIX ENGINEER BIOS?
Skip the Fluff. Just Listen.
Your ears are the only critics that matter.
If you can't hear the undeniable ability we bring to the table in this short video, then frankly, we're probably not for you anyway.

But if you do hear it, stick around.
Things are about to get...uncomfortable.

The Truth is Uncomfortable
Why You Shouldn't Hire Moonlit Music to Mix Your Song.
So, you're looking to make sure your music doesn't sound like shit. You've probably sifted through a sea of perfectly curated sales pitches with the energy and authenticity of a perfectly airbrushed Instagram photo.
I'm sure they're all promising to unlock your 'unique vision' with 'cutting-edge techniques' and 'award-winning results' and trying to turn you on with sexy buzz word foreplay like "GRAMMY" and "TRUST" and "YOUR UNIQUE VISION." Don't even get me started on "ANALOG GEAR!!!!"
Here's the truth: most of that is recycled bullshit written by AI. Tons of people win Grammys for "New Age Irish Pub Vocal Hollering" or "Best Album Art," then post that their 'pRiCe JuSt WeNt Up' because they won. Good for them. That's not us. We're about audio, not accolades, and that might be a problem for you.
Let's address the real reasons you shouldn't hire Moonlit Music, and why they might actually be your biggest advantage.

Reason # 1: This Guy?
Failed Artist? No Grammy? Lame AF.

The Raw Truth
Full disclosure: I spent my so-called 'prime' artistic years trying to make my own music, thinking that if I just learned how to mix, success would magically follow.
I got so lost in the faders, I completely forgot about the 'music artist' part. It was a selfish, naive mistake. A colossal miscalculation of my own talent versus my obsession.
Why That's Good for You
My inability to prioritize in my 20s is the biggest damn stroke of luck for both of us. Turns out, I love the process of making music sound absolutely incredible way more than I like being the one performing it. My artistic ambitions now begin and end with making your music sound like you know what you're doing. This isn't a stepping stone for me; it's the destination.
Best of all: I don't have a shiny plaque on my wall, no 'nominated for' humble-brags in my bio. Guess who can't cruise on their resume?

I don't have the luxury of slapping a famous client's name on my website and watching the clients roll in.
I have to deliver.
Every. Single. Time.
I have to be hungrier, work harder, and frankly, care more about your song than the last guy who fell ass backwards into an award five years ago because his uncle owns the studio. That guy is now charging triple my rates, delivering mid product, and capitalizing on your naive belief that if he posts your song on his social media you're on the fast track to fame. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
I have a chip on my shoulder, a point to prove, and legends are forged in that fire. So, if you're looking for a name to drop at parties, go hire someone else. If you're looking to make your SONG drop jaws, well...
Your search is over.

Reason #2: Other Guys are Cheaper
My Buddy Does It For $50
The Raw Truth
You saw it coming, didn't you? Yeah, we're probably (definitely) not the cheapest online mixing option out there. Go ahead, open a new tab, check Fiverr. I'll wait. Find someone who says, 'I'll mix your whole album for $200! Done in 24 hours!' Great. Now you've found a mixer and I'm sure he won't ruin your song.
You Get What You Pay For
Real Talk: would you hire the cheapest doctor to perform your surgery?
Do you want to go to the cheapest recording studio with a $20 microphone to track your vocals?
Your music is your main product, the core asset of your career. You expect it to pay dividends for years.
You really want to race to the bottom with it?

Your mix is arguably the most valuable part of your final release after the songwriting itself. You can hustle hype on TikTok, but trust me, you can't hustle up a quality mix for your song unless you've got a decade to squander. The cheaper mixer probably sucks. And I don't.
We're still charging a small fraction of what a REAL Grammy winner charges (I know, they taught me how to mix). I'm willing to bet you'll get something that's at least 90% as good.
Honestly, it'll probably be better. Why? Because I have to be if I want to take their throne (and I will). Most amateurs charge what they think people will pay, but I am charging what it costs to deliver a commercial quality mix and customer experience to my clients. Music is ultimately an investment. Do you value your art enough to give it the final polish it deserves, or do you want to join the legions of artists whose 'cheap mix' makes them sound like a worse version of everyone else?

So...Why Hire Moonlit Music?
Okay, now that we've cleared the air on all the reasons you might talk yourself out of hiring us, let's briefly touch on why, actually, you should. We're not for everyone. But for you, the artist who's pushing hard and grinding to make it, this is how you double, triple, even quadruple your return on all of that effort.
Being an Artist is WORK. Make Yours Count.
If your dream is to be a successful music artist and you're serious about it, you're probably screaming into the void on social media daily while trying to forcefully inject yourself into your local music scene. (If you're not, you should be.)

BUT:
-
Every ounce of sweat, every late night, every penny you pour into your career feels like it hits a ceiling.
-
You want better retention – for people to stop scrolling and actually listen.
-
You want to book more shows and land more opportunities.

That's every artist's dream outcome, and nobody wants their efforts to be for nothing. Being a successful artist takes a LOT of hustle; you want to squeeze maximum value from it. Mixing (and production, honestly) is by far the best opportunity to do that.
Here's how we help you maximize the returns on your efforts:
Work Harder, But Smarter
-
The Minefield: This industry is a minefield of exploitation. We’ve stepped on a shit ton of them. Like that time I hired "industry pros" for a music video: one got arrested, the other pretended, and $10k later (in 2011 money!), no final edit. Ever. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for exploitation. It SUCKS, and it’s everywhere. Our entire approach empowers artists and puts your music in the best position to succeed, connecting you with legitimate professionals when needed and protecting you from beginning to end.
-
Our Obsession: We're not just audio engineers; we're obsessive craftsmen. I've spent over half my life in the trenches, training under absolute legends (Chris Lord-Alge, Chris 'TEK' O'Ryan, David Stone, Cece Hall) who taught me one thing: how to crack the code on commercial viability. I actually care if your song gets heard because your success directly feeds our success. Personally, I'm tired of hearing really good songs I can't enjoy because the vocal mixes make my eardrums bleed. Please don’t join them. I can fix you.
-
Your Throne: We want your sound to stand tall among the musical giants you admire. That's our only mission now. We won't just mix; we'll challenge you to think like a producer, elevating your ability to put your talent on even greater display. We expect commitment, because we provide it, you expect it, and pay for it.
-
The Environment: This isn't some fluffy promise; we're a professional, safe space. Your music is protected, and your vulnerabilities are not exploited. My wife works with me, so no Diddy freak-offs around here. (And yes, you're GORGEOUS, but we don't want to sleep with you. We want to mix your song, maybe even facilitate the production and mastering too.)

TL;DR we will make sure your music doesn't sound like ass
so you actually get the most out of your blood, sweat, and tears.
